IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT OPENING AN ACCOUNT AT A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.
We may also ask to see your current and valid driver's license or other identifying documents. Please note that an inquiry to the credit bureau will be submitted for the primary applicant and any joint owners named on the account(s) and a joint owner is required for all applicants under 18 years of age. Before applying for membership, please show that you have read and agree to the following statements:
- I am eligible for membership at Financial Access Federal Credit Union.
- I have read and understand Financial Access Federal Credit Union's Fee Schedule.
- I read and understand Financial Access Federal Credit Union's Privacy Policy and Online User Agreement.
Do you have the following information available for both the primary and joint owners?
- Physical Address
- Date of Birth
- Driver's License
- Social Security Number
Also, if you're adding a beneficiary, please have this information available:
- Address

Enrollment Eligibility
Potential members must live, work, attend school or worship in the Eligible CDFI Investment Areas of Manatee and Sarasota Counties; Also employees and members of Service Employees International Union (SEIU), St. Petersburg, FL and employees of approved Select Employer Groups; Also spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership; members of the immediate family or household of FAFCU members and organizations of such persons can join Financial Access Federal CU.
